Portola High School, Grade 12

Vincent Tran is a Senior of Portola High School. For the majority of his academic career, he has been interested in the fields of analytical computer science and math. In the United States of America Computing Olympiad (formally abbreviated as USACO), Vincent participates in the Platinum division as of December of 2022, which uniquely identifies the top 250 out of 20,000 total contestants.

Joshua Sherman is a Junior at Portola High School, he has been studying the ins and outs of running a business since 2019.  He works on the business side of Log Alpha, handling outreach and financial aspects of the nonprofit.

Kang Ji is a Junior at Portola High School (Class of 2025). He is a USACO silver competitor, and he first programmed in 5th grade as a summer project. Currently, he is taking computer science math courses at Irvine Valley College. In his spare time, he rock-climbs at Sender One. He can also operate a lathe and CNC mill, though unfortunatly, Log Alpha teaches neither.

Northwood High School, Grade 11

Ethan Pan is a Junior at Northwood High School. He has been interested in mathematics from a young age, and began to study competetive programming in 9th grade, currently competing in the USACO Silver division. In his spare time, he performs component-level electronics repair.
