WHO ARE WE?

Log Alpha is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that connects enthusiastic volunteers with knowledge-hungry students. Founded with the goal of making Computer Science accessible and doable for all, we strive to help students through carefully tailored private classes that target individual needs and enable students to help achieve their version of success, whether it be in school or competitions.

Based in Irvine, a local center of academic success in Southern California, Log Alpha is made up of talented and resourceful volunteers, and our leadership team has ample experience with success in both competition and school math. Log Alpha’s method, developed after countless hours of thoughtful planning, will ensure fast and noticeable results in your coding career.

Our team also strongly believes in equality and inclusion, and we want to give back the community that shaped us into who we are; by serving underprivileged communities and spreading the word about careers in Computer Science, we seek to create a brighter future for everyone, no matter their background.

OUR MISSION

Log Alpha’s mission is to expand access to high-quality Computer Science education for underprivileged students who lack academic resources and provide community service opportunities for volunteers. Our CS training programs aim to bridge the gap between driven learners and success in the computer science field, setting the foundation for future career coders. In this way, Log Alpha also fosters leadership skills within our volunteers and provides opportunities for successful students to give back to their communities.
